Midway Point: Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2009: #5. A Serious Man

I'm looking forward to the film where I know next to nothing about the film's cast, which was the case when we were introduced to William H. Macy from Fargo.

Midway Point: Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2009: #6. Micmacs à tire-larigot

It has been a long five years since his last picture (Jeunet spent a considerable amount of time trying to mount Life of Pi as his next project. Ang Lee has taken on the reigns of that). Midway Point: Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2009: #7. Where the Wild Things Are

Midway Point: Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2009: #8. Fantastic Mr. Fox

I'm looking forward in seeing how Anderson manages to infuse his style in a stop animated film and how he works from a very specific source (Roald Dahl). His dream cast of usual suspects (Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman and Anjelica Huston) and grade A talent in George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Willem Dafoe assure the highest pedigree.

Midway Point: Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of 2009: #9. The Lovely Bones

I'm extremely curious to see how a touchy concept might play out on the big screen. The film with the narration I'm most looking forward to seeing. Heavenly Creatures anyone?
