With The Informers just released, there seems to be a rush to make any outstanding Bret Easton Ellis properties into feature films (Less Than Zero prequel is in the works), such much so that they're looking to Benicio Del Toro to play the author in the screen version of Lunar Park. The fact that Ellis is the same color as Wonderbread doesn't seem to pose any problems for the author or the actor.
