I'm curious to see what they've found and I'm more curious in seeing how married filmmaking couple journo Brian L. Frye and art prof Penny Lane pieced together a treasure trove of Super 8 home movies filmed by Nixon's closest aides (view trailer). Currently in post, the Cinereach supported, Kickstarter helped Our Nixon appears to be a paean to a small snippet of an era (1969-1972) that could play in anything from the Frontier section to the Spotlight Docs section to the fest U.S Doc Comp.

2012 Sundance Predictions: Kevin Patrick Connors’ The Normals
I've lost count of how many items Jess Weixler is attached to in my predictions list - but here is another indie comedy with actor Bryan Greenberg in the lead, a supporting perf from indie stalwart John Sayles and with a newbie filmmaker in the driver's seat. Kevin Patrick Connors' has been to Park City before as an Executive Producer on Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, and The Normals will be his big coming out party. If accepted, this book adaptation will be part of the Premieres line-up.
2012 Sundance Predictions: Ry Russo Young’s Nobody Walks
A 2010 Sundance Screenwriters Lab selected project with additional support from the Annenberg Film Fellowship Grant and the Indian Paintbrush Fellowship, Ry Russo Young teamed with Lena Dunham for a project that attracted the likes of Dylan McDermott, Rosemarie DeWitt, John Krasinski and Olivia Thirlby for a film budgeted at a significantly larger amount than what it cost to make her debut film, You Wont Miss Me (a New Frontier programmed film). Nobody Walks looks poised for a U.S Dramatic Comp inclusion.
