Tracking Shot: Azazel Jacobs, Pablo Berger & Claire Denis Shooting in May

“Tracking Shot” is a top of month featurette here on that looks at the projects that are moments away from lensing. Macy), Wind River (Taylor Sheridan), Breath (Simon Baker), Untitled Trainspotting sequel (Danny Boyle) and popcorn item from helmer Nikolaj Arcel in The Dark Tower.

This May, we’ve got a half dozen projects we’re tracking including European productions from Pablo Berger (Abracadabra), Lucas Belvaux (Chez nous) and Claire Denis (High Life) with Wash Westmoreland possibly getting underway with Colette which back in February had Keira Knightley toplining. Stateside, Shawn Christensen has begun lensing on Sidney Hall while Azazel Jacobs is getting closer to a start date with The Lovers.

Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at, established in 2000. A regular at Sundance, Cannes, and Venice, Eric holds a BFA in film studies from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. In 2013, he served on the narrative competition jury at the SXSW Film Festival. He was an associate producer on Mark Jackson’s "This Teacher" (2018 LA Film Festival, 2018 BFI London). In 2022, he was a New Flesh Juror for Best First Feature at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
