Video Interview: Christopher Abbott, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi & Makenzie Leigh (James White)

Date:

If you visit Borderline Films’ mini catalog of short and feature films you’ll notice that they have a genuine knack for discovering and unearthing talent in front of the camera. James White is no different. Christopher Abbott plays the titular, lead character while his supporting cast Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi & Makenzie Leigh take on roles of nurturers, hard-love support-system defenders. I sat down with all three at the Sundance Film Festival discussing how Gotham Award nominated Christopher Abbott first approached the character and how Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi contributed to the film’s score after having acted in the film.

The Film Arcade releases James White at NYC’s Landmark Sunshine Cinema on November 13th, and it will open in other cities in the weeks to follow. Here is my sit-down with Mond.
