Channel Surfing: Production Begins on Jane Schoenbrun’s “I Saw the TV Glow”

Date:

After delivering one of the more remarkable micro-indie items of 2021 in We’re All Going to the World’s Fair, Jane Schoenbrun is (via the socials) officially back at it again beginning production on I Saw the TV Glow – the A24 backed horror-esque project produced by Sarah Winshall, Sam Intili, Ali Herting, Dave McCarey, and Emma Stone. Look for further updates on the cast as the teenage co-leads and supporting cast.

Jane Schoenbrun I Saw the TV Glow

This follows two teenage outcasts who bond over their shared love of a scary television show, but the boundary between TV and reality begins to blur after it is mysteriously canceled. Seeing this is an A24 project – they’ll likely sit on it while they focus on the heavy slate ahead of them. This could be released in 2023 or 2024.
