Untogether

She started off as a journalist in her teens. She became a best-selling author in her young adulthood, moved into screenwriting and landed on the Black List with LIARS (A-E), and true to form and with gusto, the London born longtime Angeleno moved into filmmaking with her own screenplay. Emma Forrest‘s Untogether went into production in October of 2016 with a formable cast in tow.

With a cast comprised of Jamie Dornan, Jemima Kirke and Lola Kirke, Ben Mendelsohn, Alice Eve, Jennifer Grey, Scott Caan and Billy Crystal, this follows the affair between Andrea (Jemima Kirke), a former teen prodigy turned heroin addict who is trying to be a writer now that she’s sober, and Nick (Dornan), a writer who’s found success with his memoir of war-time bravery, which sees him showered in wealth and women. With Cinematographer Autumn Durald onboard, if there is a frankness, a weight and an openness in her texts, we can expect something cinematically along the lines of say a 21 Grams.

Release Date/Prediction: Could shore up at the Tribeca Film Fest or TIFF.
