J.D. Dillard’s Sweetheart | 2019 Sundance Film Festival

Seeing that he signed up for Sweetheart not that long after Sleight had premiered at Sundance in 2016, we now understand why the Blumhouse project took a bit more time in post than originally thought — and that has everything to do with the thing Kiersey Clemons’ character meets in the dark on….a not so deserted island. J.D. Dillard‘s survivalist tale played well for the Midnight folks. Here is the post-screening Q&A that took place on January 28th at the Library Center Theatre.
