The 7th edition of US in Progress Paris: 8 Films Headed to Champs-Élysées Film Festival

Now in its 7th edition, the US in Progress Paris have unveiled (an expanded batch of) eight participants lined up for the Champs-Élysées Film Festival portion of the program (American Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland will announce their set in the fall). A who’s who in American indie film, past participants in their past seven editions include John Maringouin’s Ghost Box Cowboy, Madeleine Olnek’s Wild Nights with Emily, Joshua Z.Weinstein’s Menashe, Celia Rowlson-Hall’s MA, Gabe Klinger’s Porto, Matt Sobel’s Take Me to the River, Benjamin Dickinson’s Creative Control, Michael Tully’s Ping Pong Summer, Matt Porterfield’s I Used to Be Darker, Lance Edmands’ Bluebird, Hannah Fidell’s A Teacher, Travis Gutiérrez Senger’s Desert Cathedral, and Amy Seimetz’s Sun Don’t Shine.

512 Hours with Marina Abromovic directed and produced by Giannina La Salvia and Adina Istrate, also produced by Giacomo Boeri (1st documentary)

For Entertainment Purposes Only directed by Colin Healey, produced by Ian Bell, Dave Schachter, Mary Ashton Burgh, Mark Myers, Jessica Kingdon, Alex Megaro (2nd narrative feature)

Pahokee directed and produced by Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan, also produced by Maida Lynn (1st documentary)

Sanzaru directed by Xia Magnus, produced by Alyssa Polk, Anthony Pedone, Kenny Riches (1st narrative feature)

The Ghost Who Walks directed by Cody Stokes, produced by Daniel Gartner, Frank Mosley, David Johnson (EP) (1st narrative feature)

The Plagiarists directed by Peter Parlow, produced by James N. Kienitz Wilkins and Paul Dallas (1st narrative feature)

The Short History of the Long Road directed by Ani Simon-Kennedy, produced by Kishori Rajan (2nd narrative feature)

This Body, Too directed and produced by Arisleyda Dilone (1st documentary)
