A small independent film project we’ll keeping tabs on, Cineuropa reports that Marie Rosselet-Ruiz commenced production a couple of week back ago on her directorial debut L’une des leurs. Formerly titled Authentiks, Céleste Brunnquell (who toplines), Veerle Baetens and Camille Rutherford we already attached, and now Paul Beaurepaire, Louis Memmi and Mamadou Sidibé have been added to the main cast. Production will continue until the end of this month. Souleymane’s Story‘s cinematographer Tristan Galand is onboard. Take Shelter’s Margaux Juvénal and Alexis Genauzeau are producing. If you ask me, Cannes selections committees will have this on their radars.
