A Feast for your Eyes: Hunger Trailer

I’ve been hitting the pavement with this one ever since I caught it had its world premiere back in May (you can read my impressions here) — simply put, Steve McQueen’s Hunger will leave no one indifferent.

I’ve been hitting the pavement with this one ever since I caught it had its world premiere back in May (you can read my impressions here) — simply put, Steve McQueen’s Hunger will leave no one indifferent. Initially I had concerns that this might make it on the festival circuit, but it would take a brave distributor to market the film — but multiple territories have picked up the picture and are willing to back a picture that may be too difficult to handle for a large segment of the population – not only for its charged graphic nature, but its narrative style. Our friends at Firstshowing.com let us know that the trailer (U.K. edition) is up and about – if I hadn’t seen the film I’d be sold on this trailer alone. Click here to watch that trailer.
