BuzzIf you’re like me and have been moved by the auteur Romanian cinema of not even the past decade, then you might want to plunge into this three hour documentary film which focuses on the man who was the source for fifteen years of misery in this country. The pic preemed in an Out of Comp slot in Cannes and will surely receive love from festival programmers who’ve been promoting the likes of Corneliu Porumboiu, Cristian Mungiu, Cristi Puiu and Catalin Mitulescu.

The Gist: The film explores the image of the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu using official footage from the Romanian National Television and National Film Archives.
