Daily Recommendation: Ramin Bahrani’s Goodbye Solo (Encore)

Opening today at the Angelika, Ramin Bahrani and Souléymane Sy Savané will be present at the Goodbye Solo screenings tonite, Saturday 7pm & 9pm and the 3pm & 5pm shows. Its the best film of the year so far.

I mentioned Goodbye Solo in another Daily Recommendation profile earlier in the month, but now it opens theatrically today at the Angelika. Ramin Bahrani and lead actor Souléymane Sy Savané (can’t wait to se him in some other roles) will be present at the Goodbye Solo screenings tonite, Saturday 7pm & 9pm and the 3pm & 5pm shows. Its the best film of the year so far.
