The shooting is planned to start somewhere in spring 2012. Meanwhile the working title is “Ileana”, and its story, based on reality, sounds like this: Article 16 in the Romanian Penal Code states that a friend of a person charged with drug dealing can reduce his sentence by turning in another drug dealer. So Ileana, an innocent and dreamy young girl, has to enter a world she is not familiar with, a world of heroin addicts in the suburbs of Bucharest, trying to red-hand a drug dealer and set her boyfriend, Radu, free. This journey will forever change her perception of love and life.

Eva Pervolovici’s most recent film, Down the Rabbit Hole, has been nominated for best short film at MIFF Award (Film Festival Internazionale di Milano) and has participated at many other film festivals, like Karlovy Vary International Student Film Festival, East End Film Festival – London or Naoussa International Film Festival.

Almost 4000 euro from the entire project budget of 860.000 euro has been received from the National Center for Cinema.
