Film in Pictures: Chris Kentis and Laura Lau’s Silent House

Date:

It was just announced this week that Chris Kentis and Laura Lau’s Silent House was a last minute Park City at Midnight entry for Sundance (only three weeks to go folks) and we’ve now got your first look at the stills from the U.S remake of Uruguayan film La Casa Muda starring Elizabeth Olsen. The newbie actress comes to the festival with not one, but a pair of films working in different “horror” genres – this one is straight to the point (I’ve organized the stills in their probable sequence) and the other falls into what could be coined as a psychological horror drama in Sean Durkin’s Martha Marcy May Marlene.
