Miramax stand behind ‘Adult Children of Divorce’

Date:

Further proof that the SNL writers are not the only ones that are apt at working on feature film projects, the raw comedic writing talent over at the Comedy Network’s The Daily Show/The Colbert Report is slowly branching out beyond writing the 30-minute format. THR reports that “Daily Show” head writer Ben Karlin and Stu Zicherman (see pic above) have written a comedy which Miramax Films is looking to develop. Zicherman is looking to make his directorial debut with the picture and will produce it with Karlin and Bobby Cohen.

A.C.O.D. (Adult Children of Divorce) is a satire which sees what happens when a grown man still caught in the crossfire of his parents’ 15-year-old divorce. The lead character discovers he was unknowingly part of a study on divorced children. He’s enlisted in a follow-up years later that wreaks new havoc on his family.
