More Post Sundance shopping: Freestyle spins the ‘Bottle’

It’s Miller time for Freestyle Releasing. With a slotted September release for Randall Miller’s Nobel Son, Screen Daily reports that the indie distributor is extending their support of the filmmaker’s product by picking up his Sundance-preemed tale of fermented grapes from Odd Lot International. 

Scripted by Miller and Jody Savin, Bottle Shock is a story behind the birth of the Napa wine industry and tells the story of the Paris
Tastings of 1976, in which California wines impressed judges in a
series of blind tastings and usurped French domination of the wine
market.
