Scorsese’s Shutter Island pushed back to February 19th.

3. Lock Down Until 2010 Part 2
Perhaps one of the best pictures I’ve seen this year (A Prophet) is being released February 12th. 

4. Zach Galifianakis is Expected for Dinner
Actor signs for French film remake. 2009 was a great year for Zach. Imagine 2010, 2011. (Via THR)

5. Egoyan doesn’t open TIFF but… 
Atom Egoyan’s Chloe will open this year’s San Sebastian Film Festival. (Via Screen Daily)

6. Cannes titles wins big in East Europe Fest 
Vladmir Perisic’s Ordinary People wins big at the 15th Sarajevo Film Festival. (Via Screen Daily)

7. Beam Me Up….. 
TIFF will be beam afraid of flying helmer Lars von Trier for 90 mins perhaps after a screening of Antichrist. (Via THR)

Everchanging Production’s breaking into biz with heist film with production set for 2010. Based on Terence Hall & Adam Bunyard screenplay, directed by Paul Warner and filming in Germany, UK, France and Belgium.

Bryan Singer makes it in the trades again. Adding Excalibur remake to shopping list. (Via Variety)
