Festival gets into full swing today, a press conference at the Egyptian Theatre featuring Robert Redford, President and Founder of Sundance Institute, Geoffrey Gilmore, Director of the Sundance Film Festival, and director Martin McDonagh (see image above) of the opening film In Bruges. This is Salt Lake City Int, Airport’s busiest day I presume: among the people going to Park City are the buyers, people coming with films, people reporting on films, onlookers and bystanders. Warm socks, red bull and 8 a.m. screenings and late parties await and are the makeup of this fest.

Variety gives us the Top 25 list of titles that will pack and see plenty of heat, the New York Times point towards those that will get the most attention from the buyers, Indiewire reports on Swagdance: the unfortunate reality of having a popular film festival, USA Today has a bakers dozen of trailers and clips of the more prominent titles and finally, Firstshowing.net gives us a small sampling of trailers including the heavy-looking Downloading Nancy.
