This Week’s Eye Candy: Six Shooter

Date:

Playwright, Martin McDonagh’s first feature film, In Bruges, has just opened to mixed reviews, where critics are either championing the film’s genre-bending irreverence; or confused at its mixed tones with equal parts dark and light. The film may be throwing some people off; but those who enjoy British dark humour will find their fix here, with Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell playing hit-men banished to a small, well-preserved medieval Belgian town after a botched job.

If In Bruges happens to appeal to you, take note that Gleeson has worked with McDonagh before in the 2004 Oscar winning short film Six Shooter. You can view a short clip here, courtesy of YouTube…

This week’s eye candy is: Martin McDonagh’s Six Shooter
