TIFF 2009 Day 7: Rick Jacobson’s Bitch Slap

This re-hashing of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill should find itself a prosperous DVD future, and perhaps even a theatrical release in an era where exploitation films that are in vogue.

Too bad that the 2nd public screening for Rick Jacobson’s Bitch Slap didn’t come with with the extra ass-sets. Apparently, the crew brought the house down at the previous night’s midnight screening of the film, which would have been a plus, since this is an empty vessel for my taste buds. Of course, I knew this going in, so I was able to appreciate a low budget fest of curvy B-actresses spilling over the screen, and exaggerated sets of fight sequences. Full review coming soon.
