TIFF 2009 Day 7: Rick Jacobson’s Bitch Slap

Date:

Too bad that the 2nd public screening for Rick Jacobson’s Bitch Slap didn’t come with with the extra ass-sets. Apparently, the crew brought the house down at the previous night’s midnight screening of the film, which would have been a plus, since this is an empty vessel for my taste buds. Of course, I knew this going in, so I was able to appreciate a low budget fest of curvy B-actresses spilling over the screen, and exaggerated sets of fight sequences. This re-hashing of Faster Pussycat Kill Kill should find itself a prosperous DVD future, and perhaps even a theatrical release in an era where exploitation films that are in vogue. Full review coming soon.
