TIFF 2009 Day 8: Rodrigo Garcia’s Mother and Child

Date:

I had a feeling that there’d be an inter-linked, multiple character story-line as in his previous films, but I really didn’t know what to expect with Rodrigo Garcia’s Mother and Child. I’ll second the thoughts shared by Hollywood Elsewhere‘s Mr.Wells – Annette Bening is delicious in her role as a bottled up, angry in the inside pessimist with some deep personal wounds. It’s an Oscar-nom worthy role and Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington also deliver the goods. Question is: who will pick up the pic and when will it get released? Look for full review coming soon.
