Why is it on the list?: Adapting a film from your own novel appears to be an arduous task, but Berthaud could pull it off with the same fly-on-the-wall, colorful aesthetic from her debut film. It also facilitates the process when you’re re-teaming with an actor that backed your first project (Kruger).
Release Date/Status?: Festival releases are assured, pairing of renowned international European actresses might guarantee a sale for the North American market. Will be released in France in mid-April by Haut et Court Distribution.
