Trailer: Habib Azar’s Armless

Date:

We have one more Armless item for you which comes to us in the post-holiday, three weeks before Sundance period. In our profile last week, we introduced you to filmmaker Habib Azar in two parts (here and here) and now we have a first look at the trailer. I’m looking forward to the film and much of the reasons are in what Azar cites in our Q&A with him, “Armless has this weird dry and dark humor that is unsettling and enticing at the same time“.

The trailer lets us know to what lengths and directions the protag (Daniel London) is willing to go alter his appearance. Love the uncovered pictured in a drawer bit – it further describes how he mutilates his own picture to appease his deeply disturbing desires. Final thought: I’m wondering if you can find product placement finance money if you portray the use of power tool in a manner that it was not meant to be used?
