2012 Sundance Predictions: Brian Savelson’s In Our Nature

Date:

#31. In Our Nature – Brian Savelson

Brian Savelson might be another filmmaker who got invited to Park City but for competing film fest (Slamdance) with his short film Counting Water and who make his feature debut splash at Redford’s shing ding. In Our Nature (aka Family Tree) is a low budget relationship drama featuring John Slattery, Zach Gilford, Jena Malone and Gabrielle Union and would fit nicely in the U.S Dramatic Comp.

Gist: An estranged father (John Slattery) and son (Zach Gilford) duo mistakenly end up at the same vacation country home. Over the awkward weekend getaway, the two end up meeting each other’s girlfriends (Gabrielle Union and Jena Malone).

Producers: Vincent Savino and Anish Savjani (Meek’s Cutoff)
