German filmmaker grabbed the spotlight with his Berlinale preemed directorial debut Luz (tale is about a cab driver who gets owned by a demonic entity) and he front-loaded his sophomore feature with the likes of Hunter Schafer, Dan Stevens, Jessica Henwick, Marton Csókás, Jan Bluthardt, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey and Greta Fernández for what will be a Neon release. Filming on Cuckoo took place in April of last year and is shot on 35mm. Producers include Markus Halberschmidt, Josh Rosenbaum, Maria Tsigka, Ken Kao, Thor Bradwell and Ben Rimmer.

Release Date/Prediction: We see this getting some fall film festival love for an October theatrical drop.
