2026 Berlinale Co-Production Market: Francisca Alegría, Alonso Ruizpalacios, Klaudia Reynicke, Ivan Grbovic & Amanda Nell Eu Invited!

Francisca Alegría, Alonso Ruizpalacios, Klaudia Reynicke, Ivan Grbovic and Amanda Nell Eu are among the filmmakers who’ll be setting up shop for the upcoming Berlinale Co-Production Market. The project have coin are will be looking for more funds from international partners and will be competing for some euros with various development prizes.

Following in her 2022 Sundance gem The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future, Chilean filmmaker Francisca Alegría has Nativity (read news) in the works. Another Sundance alumni in Reinas filmmaker Klaudia Reynicke has Il Dominio in the works. This will likely be set in her native Switzerland. Mexican filmmaker Alonso Ruizpalacios who last gave us La Cocina now has The Transmigration of Bodies on the stove. Amanda Nell Eu of Cannes Critics’ Week favorite Tiger Stripes now has Lotus Feet on the radar. Canadian filmmaker Ivan Grbovic (Drunken Birds) will next be venturing along with The Talas Affair.
