The Gist: Grace (Helen Mirren) is married to Charlie (Joe Pesci), a violent gangster constantly trying to hit the big time in Reno, Nevada. Why is it on the list?: Hackford’s film has been on the radar for a while now, but it has more to do with the proposed tandem of Mirren and Pesci and the site specific backdrop than my interest in the filmmaker.
Release Date/Status?: Capitol Films’ financial woes has put the eventual release in limbo.
