Singer finds a United front

The newly re-minted United Artists is hungry for projects and a pair of ‘usual suspects’ appear to be the next clients in line for the Wagner and Cruise shingle. The untitled thirller to be finaced by W&C will see Bryan Singer re-team with screenwriter Chris McQuarrie.

Set during World War II, the project is said to be a multi-character ensemble piece. Shooting will begin this summer.

Singer is of course busy up until next decade a pair of projects like the next installment in the man faster than a speeding bullet franchise (Superman Returns Sequel) and a biopic by the name of The Mayor of Castro Street.  Meanwhile, McQuarrie is busy with Stanford Prison Experiment.  Variety reports that Singer and McQuarrie will produce.
