Winner of the 2nd highest prize offered at the Cannes Film Festival with her sophomore film The Wonders in 2014, and she previously made a splash in the Directors’ Fortnight with Corpo celeste. Coming from a docu background, Alice Rohrwacher’s approach for Happy as Lazzaro (Lazzaro Felice) is all fairytale.
