Not a remake of Murnau's 1926 film, but the closing chapter in Sokurov's grouping of four films under the theme of corruption is an absolute must for film snobs. Having only seen three of his works, I can't say I'm much of an expert on the filmmaker, but the chosen subject should be an interesting figure to highlight in Sokurov commonly known aesthetic that draws upon nature's surroundings and natural light to add descriptive layers to his characters.
Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2010: Lee Chang-dong’s Poetry
After seeing the type of performance he can extract from Jeon Do-yeon in Secret Sunshine, I'm curious to know what he'll do with a sixty-year old legendary actress who has been on an acting sabbatical for almost two decades. Could be a poignant representation of solitude in old age.

What we do know is Wild Tigers I Have Known announced a new talent worth keeping tabs on. Expect his sophomore project to be a highly stylized, visually alluring piece and if Barkin brings her A-game to what appears to be a gutsy, meta role, then the title will be an afterthought when discussing the film.
