National Society of Film Critics pick Pan’s
National Society of Film Critics crowned their year end best – and Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth was voted as best picture. The critics' group (critics mostly based in L.A and NYC) also gave a merited best director award to Paul Greengrass for U93.
Wilson on ‘Passengers’ list
It was already a great year in 2006 with his showcase roles in Hard Candy and Little Children, but 2007 is shaping up to be his breakout year. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Patrick Wilson has joined the supernatural thriller project called Passengers.
SAG nominees!
Babel, Dreamgirls and Little Miss Sunshine garnered 3 noms each while Blood Diamond, The Departed, Little Children and Notes on a Scandal grabbed a pair each. Winners to be announced on Jan.28th, the SAG noms are chosen by a panel of 2,100 guild members.
