‘Freedom’ to watch, ‘Freedom’ to choose

Date:

Hitting streets tomorrow is the Paramount Home Video release of Richard LaGravenese's Freedom Writers. You can check out the trailer here.

While consumerism sometimes brings out the worst in people, the woman in me tells me this is most exciting use of the trailer technology since the advent of trailers being shown on the internet. Described as the “first shoppable-video functionality”, in a nutshell, this might reshape how we watch feature length films and make for a different movie-going experience. Still in its infancy stage, it won't alter the experience but it might make trailers/slideshows a whole lot more interesting – I imagine getting my hands on some of the stuff featured in Tarantino's portion of Grindhouse. Not machine guns or machettes but rather some of them uber cool tees.

Click on the blue button below to get a feel for what this new technology is all about and buy what your true heart and credit card desires. Happy shopping and happy clicking!
