His sixth feature film comes a full seven years since 2012’s Spring Breakers revitalized his career path, The Beach Bum went into production in late 2017 with Isla Fisher, Snoop Dogg, Zac Efron and Jonah Hill joining Matthew McConaughey. Neon came onboard early on and the film recently nabbed a SXSW showing embracing the promise of reefer madness and aqua-centric promised fun.

Gist: This follows the hilarious misadventures of Moondog (Matthew McConaughey), a rebellious rogue who always lives life by his own rules.

Release Date/Prediction: A SXSW premiere will be followed by a March 29th by Neon.
