2024 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: Logan George & Celine Held’s Caddo Lake

We thought what is now known as Caddo Lake (shortened from Vanishings At Caddo Lake) might drop last year but it looks like a 2024 release was planned. Filmed in September of 2021 in Shreveport, Dylan O’Brien, Eliza Scanlen and Lauren Ambrose topline the thriller by tandem Celine Held and Logan George. They broke out with Topside – their feature debut landed at the Critics’ Week in Venice back in 2020. Prior to that, they were at Sundance with their short Lockdown (2019), and the year before that Caroline (2018) was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or short film in Cannes.
Gist: When an 8-year-old girl disappears on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to link together, altering a broken family’s history.
Production Co./Producers: M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Kara Durrett, Josh Godfrey.
Prediction: Midnight.
