Filmmakers Kantemir Balagov, Cristian Mungiu (both currently in production) and Albert Serra are among the wave of filmmakers receiving significant coin via the Eurimages Project Evaluation Session of 2025. In total we find 23 feature films, including 5 documentaries and 2 animation projects. Among the almost two dozen projects we have invested interested in Gagarine tandem (read review) Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh‘s Green Eyes (which we reported on back in 2023) and Mary Rose by Irish filmmaker Colm Bairéad who broke out big with 2022’s The Quiet Girl.
