All That Glitter: Raffey Cassidy, Eva Green, Ben Whishaw & Alessandro Nivola Set for Antonia Campbell-Hughes’ “Diamond Shitter”

Date:

Antonia Campbell-Hughes made the jump ionto feature filmmaking with 2022’s It Is In Us All and she is now laying the groundwork for her upcoming sophomore feature and has lassoed quite the ensemble. Deadline reports that that The Brutalist‘s Raffey Cassidy and Alessandro Nivola along with Eva Green and Ben Whishaw have lined up Diamond Shitter. Campbell-Hughes will also take a supporting role. Currently in preproduction, principal photography is set for Switzerland and Ireland. The film is produced by Sleeper Films’ Rory Gilmartin, Lee Magiday, Wilf Varvill, Rita Productions’ Max Karli and Pauline Gygax are producing. The project has been a decade in-the-making. We can expect this to drop next year.

This unfolds against the backdrop of the affluent expat community in Geneva. Cassidy will star as young intern Nollaig who ignites a darkly visceral shift within the privileged home of her host family when she steals their precious diamonds, absorbing them into her body. In the process, she unmasks the deeper truths beneath their glittering privilege.
