2011 Sundance Predictions: Jason Eisener’s Hobo with a Shotgun

Date:

#17. Hobo with a Shotgun – Jason Eisener

Jason Eisener’s 2008 short Treevenge, became an instant hit with the fanboys in Sundance, I wouldn’t be surprised if Park City at Midnight rolls out the “red” carpet for Hobo With A Shotgun – his feature debut which is based on one of the fake trailers made for the Tarantino/Rodriguez Grindhouse project.

Written by John Davies, based on a story by Eisener Story & Rob Cotterill, this stars Rutger Hauer and Gregory Smith, this is about a homeless vigilante played by Hauer, who blows away crooked cops, pedophile Santas, and other scumbags with his trusty pump-action shotgun. Here’s the teaser.

* Producers: Rob Cotterill, Niv Fichman, Paul Gross and Frank Siracusa
