Synopsis:
Written by Paul Bernbaum and formerly titled “Truth, Justice & the American Way”, this is based around the mysterious 1959 death of television actor George Reeves (Affleck), better known as the original Superman, and the botched investigation that followed as well as the actor’s relationship with the iconic role. Brody will play the lead detective on the case. Diane Lane will portray Toni Mannix, a studio executive’s wife who may or may not have been romantically involved with the actor.
