Last year Cannes turned 60 and this year the Directors’ Fortnight section (my favorite section of the Cannes film festival) is celebrating their 40th year. Variety is reporting that the section is making a multi-stops on the world cinema circuit – beginning with a stop in Greece and followed by a Paris event called “The Quinzaine’s Great Films” which will screen in April between the 16-29 at the Cinema Action theater in Paris.
