Film Dept. thinks Peter Chelsom is ‘Perfect Man’ for the Job

Date:

I’m looking forward in seeing the first couple of films roll out of Mark Gill‘s Film Department in 2009. So far the projects in development show that Gill is preferring genre films – which makes sense in these tough economic times. So the announcement of helmer Peter Chelsom joining rom com The Perfect Man continues in the same direction of the kind of material they are putting into development.

To be scripted by Colleen McGuinness, this is based on Italian film “L’uomo perfetto,” pic follows a woman’s plot to break up the marriage of her two friends.

Variety reports that Di Novi Pictures is also coming on board – Denise Di Novi, Alison Greenspan, Mark Gill and Robert Katz are producing, with Gill’s Film Department fully financing.
