Justin Bartha, Jordan Gelber and Aasif Mandvi Are Solondz’ ‘Dark Horse’ Picks

Date:

Not much is known on Todd Solondz’s next film except that Production Weekly is calling it an edgy character drama and that Justin Bartha, Jordan Gelber & Aasif Mandvi are joining the project set to begin filming this Fall. Solondz described the Dark Horse‘s tone, still controversial in design but didn’t offer plot description to The Playlist back when he was touring for Life During Wartime this Summer.

Justin Bartha, Jordan Gelber & Aasif Mandvi Dark Horse

Bartha has taken on several studio items and has been involved in the first and second installments of National Treasure and soon, The Hangover. In indie film terms, he was the Hasidic Jew smuggler in Holy Rollers. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’s Mandvi doesn’t need much of an introduction – his most recent bit part was in It’s Kind of a Funny Story. The person tht does need an intro is the stage and television actor Jordan Gelber – he was most recently seen in a pair of “Boardwalk Empire” episodes, and had a very small part in the TIFF preemed Henry’s Crime.
