Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2008: #61 Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Date:

 Vicky Cristina Barcelona

#61. Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Director/Writer:
Woody Allen
Producers: Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Gareth Wiley
Distributor: The Weinstein Co.

The Gist: A painter enters a relationship with two American tourists. Conflict begins with the painter’s jealous ex-girlfriend.

Fact: This is now Allen’s third film with Scarlett Johansson. They both direct episodes in New York, je t’aime.

See It: Very little is known about this film – but it takes place in Spain and has a great cast. 50/50 chances this is worth the detour.

Release Date/Status?: Cannes competition selection highly probable. Just picked up by the Weinsteins.
