The Gist: This is a drama about a lonely woman (Jeong-hie Yun) in her 60s, who is searching for a new meaning at the end of her life…(more)

Cast: Yoon Hee-Jeong

Why is it on the list?: After seeing the type of performance he can extract from Jeon Do-yeon in Secret Sunshine, I’m curious to know what he’ll do with a sixty-year old legendary actress who has been on an acting sabbatical for almost two decades. Could be a poignant representation of solitude in old age.

Release Date/Status?: Currently in post, he’ll most likely land a spot in Cannes once again. Expect film festival play, but distribution deal is unlikely.
