Weekend Rental: In the Mood for Love

Date:

Earlier in the week, the Cannes film festival opened with Wong Kar-wai’s My Blueberry Nights, so it seems fitting that I suggest my favorite WKW film for your viewing pleasure. Some might point to his earlier works as the best of his filmography, but I’ve got a special place in my film-viewing heart for the picture he presented in the year 2000. Starring Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu Wai, this picked up a pair of awards at Cannes and was then followd by 2046 in 04’.

This weekend we suggest renting: Wong Kar Wai's In The Mood For Love.
