Currently in Cannes (perhaps still editing) for Enter the Void, Gaspar Noe tells Screen Daily that his next film will venture into porn territory. The untitled picture is is a return to roots for the director known all-over the world for what many would say is a repugnant 9-minute rape scene of Monica Bellucci. Noe explored X-rated ideas/themes before with his short films. Wild Bunch will be backing the project that Noe himself refers to as “a joyful porn movie.” Let’s hope for something more exhilarating than John Cameron Mitchell‘s Shortbus.
