2017 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: Untitled David Lowery Project

There was a sense that something was being cooked up, but for all we knew, the members on Ain’t Them Bodies Saints were having a family BBQ. It’s refreshing to see that in an era where a pin drop gets reported that Sailor Bear Producers Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston, production designer Jade Healy (The Killing of a Sacred Deer), filmmaker-cinematographer Andrew Droz (Rich Hill, One & Two) and Make Up artist Amy L. Forsythe (Christine) and the mastermind behind the project David Lowery would move from a major studio film (Pete’s Dragon) a dial his next project down to a micro indie level. Filming took place in July and August in Dallas, Texas with Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck starring. Could this be a redux of Ruth Guthrie and Bob?

Gist: Unknown.

Production Co./Producers: Sailor Bear Productions’ Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston (Listen Up Philip)

Prediction: Premieres.

U.S. Distributor: Rights Available. TBD (domestic). TBD (international)
