On this week’s episode of IndieSponge, Kevin Jagernauth and I talk about Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and the difficult decision making process in opening films during the pandemic with and the easier process that Netflix will have in the upcoming June release for Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods. We look at the third Thai cave project in the pipeline with Ron Howard boarding the MGM backed Thirteen Lives, we discuss Derek Cianfrance’s output deal with HBO and finally, we dig into Square Peg’s Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen joining forces with CJ Entertainment for the English-language remake of Save the Green Planet!.
