Who you Gonna Call? Finn Wolfhard & Billy Bryk to Co-Direct “Hell of a Summer”

Date:

After acting in Jesse Eisenberg’s directorial debut (When You Finish Saving the World), Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk will do the some of the same getting behind and in-front of the camera for Hell of a Summer. To also star Fred Hechinger (he doubles down his duties and is a main producer a swell), the tight-lipped original horror-comedy is being mounted by Aggregate Films’ Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and American indie producer legend Jay Van Hoy from Parts and Labor (American Honey/The Lighthouse).

Set to go into production this month in Ontario, Canada, 30WEST is fully financing, executive producing the film and co-representing the worldwide rights alongside CAA Media Finance. Wolfhard and Bryk have been attached at the limb co-starring on indie and studio project and Bryk toplined Wolfhard’s short film debut which you can watch below. Look for this to be showcased at a film fest in 2023. The feature will also be co-written by the duo.
