Top 200 Most Anticipated Foreign Films of 2023: #159. Teddy Lussi-Modeste’s Pas de vague

Date:

Pas de vague

Just this past month, Teddy Lussi-Modeste was in the middle of production on his third feature film and it is worth noting that he had quite the screenwriting partner collaborating on the drama. Details are non-existent for Pas de vague (which translates to No Wave and was formerly called Cueillez votre jeunesse respectively) but we’re aware that Happening‘s Audrey Diwan helped write the project and that François Civil is toplining while Kazak Productions produced the project. Lussi-Modeste’s Jimmy Rivière (2011) and The Price of Success (2017) are both film examples of pursuing one’s path.

Gist: We only know this to be a drama.

Release Date/Prediction: We think this might fit in the Giornate degli Autori in Venice, or the filmmaker might return to Toronto – where he premiered his last oeuvre.
